Peter Allen has 33 years of experience as an Ann Arbor area real estate
developer, consultant and University of Michigan educator. Peter has
developed, brokered or leased major properties in the Ann Arbor area,
mostly commercial downtown rehabs, including the Broadway Village at
Lowertown, a $140 million mixed use brownfield redevelopment next to the U
of M Medical Campus. Peter is also an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan. He has a unique perspective on the real estate investment trust boards on which he sits. Additionally, Peter has chaired or founded numerous local and regional conferences highlighting public policy issues relating to development and the local quality of life. He is the founder of the University of Michigan Real Estate Forum and served as its executive director for 10 years. Now in its 15th year, this forum has become a preeminent Midwest gathering of real estate professionals meeting yearly to discuss emerging trends and regional opportunities. Peter believes it is important to stay involved in the local community, and he finds that these memberships serve a vital role in the City of Ann Arbor: Ann Arbor Hands On Museum, founding trustee; Kerrytown Concert House, founding trustee; Ann Arbor CEO Council, founding member; and Rotary International, member. |
