FACULTY PROFILE Tammy Feldman Tammy Feldman is Lecturer in Business Economics and is also the Coordinating Editor for the Antitrust Law Journal. Prior to joining the Ross School faculty in 2007, she held faculty appointments at Carleton College (Northfield, MN), SUNY Stony Brook (Stony Brook, NY), and Occidental College (Los Angeles, CA) as well as a post-doctoral fellowship at Stanford University (CA). Professor Feldman was also an antitrust economist at the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLC (New York, NY) and at the economics consulting firm ERG (later Lexecon) in Cambridge, MA. Her consulting work has been for clients in various industries, including oil & natural gas (production, refining, and distribution), health care (hospitals, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment), and banking. Professor Feldman’s academic interests are in the area of antitrust economics and policy. In addition to her management responsibilities on the Antitrust Law Journal, she has also the symposium editor for Antitrust Remedies for Dominant Firm Misconduct, Antitrust Law Journal, Vol. 76-1 (forthcoming 2009); Aspen Skiing 20 Years Later, Antitrust Law Journal, Vol. 73-1 (2005); Buyer Power and Antitrust, Antitrust Law Journal, Vol. 72-2 (2005); and Issues in Evolution of Health Care Antitrust, Antitrust Law Journal, Vol. 71-3 (2004). For five years, she was also an associate editor for the ABA Section of Antitrust publication Antitrust. At the Ross School of Business, Professor Feldman teaches two courses in the BBA program: the BE Core Course (BE300: Applied Microeconomics) and a Senior Capstone course (BE480: Organizations & Industries). Previously she held positions as the Faculty Director for the Carleton Off-Campus Program in Economics at Cambridge University (Summer 2006); Faculty Advisor for the Carleton Business Scholars program (Fall 2006 – the program’s initial year); and Career Coordinator (i.e., Career Advisor) for students majoring in economics at Carleton College. Professor Feldman holds a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University (1987). Following her first year as an editor for American Bar Association publications, she received an Outstanding Contribution to the Section of Antitrust Law Award (2002-03).
