Waiver Requests Waiver petitions for BE501/BE502 will be accepted based on the criteria outlined below.  There is no placement exam; waiver is based only on prior academic coursework.  Please see incoming MBA waiver information for more details. Students who were undergraduate economics majors will be waived based on:  (1) GPA of B or better for undergraduate economics courses, and (2) list of courses appearing on the transcript must include intermediate microeconomics.  Other waiver petitions (from non-economics majors) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  The faculty will consider both the number of microeconomics classes taken and the grades received.
