Robyn Meredith is Senior Editor Asia for Forbes Magazine. Based in Hong Kong, she has written cover stories on General Motors, Toyota and Microsoft.
Ms. Meredith joined Forbes as its Detroit Bureau Manager in April, 2000. One of her Forbes articles was included in the 2002 Edition of the book “The Best Business Stories of the Year.”
From January, 1996 until April, 2000, Ms. Meredith was a Detroit correspondent for The New York Times. She spent the 1998-1999 academic year as a Michigan Journalism Fellow at the University of Michigan Business School.
Ms. Meredith wrote for the USA Today as a business reporter in 1995. She spent the previous two years as a reporter in the Washington bureau of the American Banker newspaper, where her reporting exposed a pattern of insider deals at savings and loans which led to four Congressional hearings and an overhaul of U.S. banking regulations governing initial public offerings.
Ms. Meredith, 37, received a B.A. degree, cum laude, from Boston University in 1990. She is the author of the forthcoming book “The Elephant and the Dragon,” on the rise of India and China.

Jong Nam Oh
Executive Director, International Monetary Fund (IMF) |
Dr. Jong Nam Oh is the first Korean Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund. Prior to joining the Fund, he served the Korean government for 29 years, mostly with the Economic Planning Board, and later the Ministry of Finance and Economy. He also worked in the Office of the President (Blue House) as Economic Secretary during Kim, Dae-Jung’s administration. From February 2002 through September 2004, he was Commissioner of the Korea National Statistical Office, where he wrote a book entitled ‘Koreans, Your Future.’ He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Law at Seoul National University in Korea, and a Ph.D. in Economics and an MBA at Southern Methodist University in Texas.
