Hyun-Soo Ahn
Assistant Professor of Operations and Management Science, Ross School of Business, University of Michigan

Hyun-soo is an Assistant Professor of Operations and Management Science at the Michigan Business School. He joined Michigan in 2003 from the University of California at Berkeley where he was an assistant professor at the department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. In his research, Hyun-soo develops and analyzes mathematical models related to supply chain management, dynamic pricing and revenue management, workforce agility, and resource allocation. He is also interested in modeling the customer's behavior (such as subscription) and how it affects the firm's profit. He has worked with a number of companies including Intel, HP, and Powerlight.

He received a BSE from the Korea Advanced Institute Of Science And Technology and an MSE and a Ph.D. from the University Of Michigan.
 
 
 
Jong Nam Oh
Executive Director, International Monetary Fund (IMF)

Dr. Jong Nam Oh is the first Korean Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund. Prior to joining the Fund, he served the Korean government for 29 years, mostly with the Economic Planning Board, and later the Ministry of Finance and Economy. He also worked in the Office of the President (Blue House) as Economic Secretary during Kim, Dae-Jung’s administration. From February 2002 through September 2004, he was Commissioner of the Korea National Statistical Office, where he wrote a book entitled ‘Koreans, Your Future.’ He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Law at Seoul National University in Korea, and a Ph.D. in Economics and an MBA at Southern Methodist University in Texas.
 
 
 
Jim Sanduski
Senior Vice President of Marketing, Digital Video & Audio Products Group, Samsung Electronics

Jim was promoted at the end of 2005 to lead Samsung’s U.S. marketing efforts in home video (DVD & camcorders) and portable/home audio (MP3 & HTiB), including Samsung’s upcoming entry in Blu-Ray (HD DVD), HD camcorders and XM Satellite enabled MP3 players. Previously, Mr. Sanduski led Samsung in attaining a #2 market share position in the digital television market and a nearly five-fold revenue increase over the past four years. He has 20 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry: 11 years with Samsung Electronics, 5 years with Sony Electronics and 4 years with GE.

Jim currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Video Division of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and is an inducted member into the Academy of Digital Television Pioneers.

Mr. Sanduski graduated with distinction with a BSBA degree from the University of Nebraska and earned an MBA degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business. In addition, he spent two years at Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan.
