FINANCE
SPEAKER SERIES
The Finance Club developed the Finance Speaker Series to
foster an environment that encourages continuous
learning and discovery of recent trends and developments
within the field of finance. Led by distinguished
faculty and alumni, these monthly events cover topics
including traditional banking activities, accounting
issues, general corporate finance, LBOs, equity
research, and others.
WALL
STREET FORUM
This event occurs October 25-27, allowing First-year students
to visit alumni at their offices in New York. During last
year’s 13th Annual Forum, over 100 Michigan First-year
students participated in discussions and presentations at
twelve firms.
CAREER
DEVELOPMENT
In addition to the assistance provided by the Office of
Career Development, The Finance Club sponsors resume and
cover letter review sessions to help students tailor
their correspondence to fit the finance industry. To
prepare for the January interview season, we publish
interview question guidelines, host interview
preparation workshops, and conduct mock interviews.
