Curriculum Development: Issues of social and environmental impact are transforming the business landscape. To ensure that Ross students are best prepared for the complicated decisions that they will face in their management careers, Net Impact is actively working with Ross faculty and staff to further integrate social and environmental stewardship and strategic thinking into the school's core curriculum as well as its elective offerings. From one-on-one meetings with core coordinators to working groups with interested faculty, Net Impact members and Ross's academic leaders are finding unique ways to examine these important themes inside the classroom.

Education Events: Ross Net Impact also hosts Education Events that serve as evening mini-courses on topics and skills sets related to businesses' social and environmental impact. Most recently, Net Impact faculty advisor and core marketing professor, Christie Nordhielm, led an Education Event on Social Marketing. Utilizing the concepts from her "Big Picture" approach to marketing strategy and execution, Prof. Nordhielm applied her methods and analysis to social marketing cases and discussed social marketing's unique challenges. In the 2007-08 academic year, Net Impact looks to host Education Events in areas such as Operations, Strategy, and Social Entrepreneurship.
