Logotype
Preferred Identity

The University of Michigan Business School logotype is UMBS Blue and UMBS Maize with black type. See the section on Color in this manual for more detailed color guidelines. The logo is comprised of both the "M" symbol and the accompanying lines of type ("University of Michigan Business School"). These two elements should always be used as a single unit. It is important that the symbol "M" never appears alone. To reproduce the University of Michigan Business School logotype, you should always use the artwork supplied. Do not attempt to reproduce it without the artwork - the typography has been carefully developed for University of Michigan Business School and will not reproduce using a regular typeface or font.

Use of the Name of the School
The School should be referred to as the University of Michigan Business School. Second use is "Michigan" or the "Business School". When referring to the Business School, do not use University of Michigan by itself, and never use U-M or U of M.
