Identity Standards

Use of Unit or
Group Name with
Logo in Stand-Alone Applications

These versions of the logotype work best when used as stand-alone applications, such as on T Shirts (promotional items), signs, or uses where the Logotype is used by itself.

The examples shown here present some guidelines for aligning the names of institutions, schools and offices with the logotype.

The names should be set in Franklin Gothic BT Roman. The size of the letters should remain proportional to the logotype. The letters should be tracked apart (letterspaced). Typesetting programs vary in how they measure tracking. Visually match the letterspacing shown.

Align the type as shown here, where the z is the distance from the symbol to the baseline of the type. The leading (line spacing) should match that used in the logotype. Never alter the type alignment of the logotype.

Preferred color palettes for the institutions, schools and offices are Pantone* 402 gray. Use only specified colors for the logotype.
