I am currently a Lecturer in the Department of Finance and proud to be associated with the University of Michigan Business School. For the Fall of 2005 I am teaching two MBA level courses, FIN622 - Introduction to Financial Engineering and FIN640, Trading. I am also teaching an undergraduate class FIN315, primarily devoted to the management of depository institutions. In the Spring I will be teaching a full semester of MBA level investments as well as sections of the course in Financial Trading and Financial Engineering. The full range of classes I have (or soon will have) taught include: Undergraduate - Introduction to Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions and Markets, Commercial Bank Management, Investments, and Advanced Corporate Finance (with Cases) MBA - Financial Engineering (with Cases), International Corporate Finance (with Cases) (taught both as a full semester course and as two seven-week modules), Financial Trading and one topics course, Risks in Commercial Banking Research: My research interests include bank regulation and credit allocation, consumer debt consolidation and re negotiation, evolutionary economics, behavioral finance, and modeling economic develop using ideas of bounded rationality.
