A few pointers for applying to teaching jobs in Michigan include:

• Get you TTEA (Temporary Teacher Employment Authorization) as soon as possible, so that any school can hire you immediately. You will have a year to take the Michigan teaching exam.
• Put your new Michigan address on your resume as soon as possible. They will not consider anyone with an out of state address.
