Dear Prospective and Incoming Partners, 
Congratulations! You and your partner are about to embark on a great adventure as he or she pursues an MBA. Whether you are just applying or preparing for the big move to Ann Arbor, it is a time of great anxiety, excitement, and lots of questions. He hope to be able to help you through this transition.
The members of the Ross Partners Club understand that new MBA students are preparing to move into a new phase in their life, but they are not the only ones making this transition. Husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, partners, and children of students may also be getting ready for the new experiences that pursuing an MBA has to offer. Just as the prospective students have questions about what the next few years will be like, significant others and families are curious about the move to Michigan and the new opportunities that this move will bring.
One way that we can help you through this transition is through Ross Partners Ambassadors. We have a group of current partners who are excited to answer your questions, whether over phone, email, or even to meet in person during a campus visit in Ann Arbor. In addition, admitted students and their partners are invited to the University of Michigan campus in April for Go Blue Rendezvous (GBR), the admitted students' weekend. The Ross Partners' activities during Go Blue! Rendevous were created to help answer some of these questions. (Click here to see the 2008 GBR agenda to get an idea of activities that may be planned for this year.) During the GBR weekend, in addition to learning about the school with your student, you will be welcomed by current Ross Partners who will share their experiences and offer insight on moving to Ann Arbor. You will also have the opportunity to attend career sessions to assist you in relocating your career to Ann Arbor. GBR is a great beginning to your Ross experience. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow MBA spouses while learning about Ann Arbor and the Ross community. On top of all that - it will be fun! We hope that you will join us at GBR 2008.
