Carol Barnett, Medtronic -- Breakfast Keynote |

Prior to starting her career at Medtronic, Carol held a series of financial and corporate planning roles at Morgan Stanley and then Jockey International. Since joining Medtronic in 1997, Carol has held several leadership roles supporting the Neuromodulation Business. In her most recent role at Medtronic as the Vice President of Global Growth, Carol leads the implementation of the Global Growth Initiative; coordinating the introduction of new management processes and collaborating with the company’s international leaders to help accomplish Medtronic’s goal of serving 25 million patients annually by 2020.
Carol graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with honors from Carleton College and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School. Carol is actively involved in community service in Minneapolis and has held several board positions in community based organizations. She currently serves as Trustee for Carleton College, MN. |

Pat Rinvelt, Thomson Reuters -- Lunch Keynote |

Pat Rinvelt is Senior Vice President of Care Management Solutions for the Healthcare Business of Thomson Reuters, working out of the Healthcare headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI. Thomson Reuters, the industry leader in healthcare data, combines industry expertise with innovative technology to deliver critical information that leading decision makers need as the healthcare industry undergoes transformational change that is reshaping the way it plans, delivers and pays for care. Pat is responsible for product management and development of Care Management Solutions that address the needs of hospitals and other care delivery organizations to track, measure and improve performance across the clinical, operational/financial, marketing and planning domains.
Since joining Thomson Reuters in 1992, Pat has worked in numerous roles across the organization as an integral part of successful teams that have grown the customer base, revenue, operational efficiency and profitability of the business. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Pat was a part of the consulting practice at Ernst & Young, spending five years providing IT consulting services to a wide variety of organizations.
Pat is a graduate of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business MBA program, with a focus on Finance and Computer Information Systems. She is also an honors graduate of Smith College with a BA in Computer Science and Economics.

| Brandon Searle, Boston Scientific |

Brandon Searle joined Boston Scientific in 2002 as a Field Representative. He spent seven years in the operating room with cardiologists and electrophysiologists. His primary responsibility was to ensure implantable pacemakers and defibrillators were making the patient’s heart beat appropriately. He has attended hundreds of cardiovascular procedures.
In 2009, Brandon joined the marketing ranks at Boston Scientific focusing on competitive threats within the industry. Brandon is currently a Group Marketing Manager with responsibility over cardiology, rhythm and vascular marketing operations. Brandon is tasked to orchestrate large, integrated marketing initiatives that impact multiple business units, across various product lines. Brandon and his team manage messaging campaigns from 10 franchises to thousands of field representatives. Brandon holds a Bachelors degree from Westminster and an MBA from Purdue University.

Mr. Maddrey is a Principal with The Chartis Group, and the leader of the firm’s Academic Alignment practice. He brings more than 18 years of management consulting and healthcare executive experience to his clients. As a consultant, Mr. Maddrey has advised some of the nation's preeminent academic medical centers, schools of medicine, children’s hospitals, and integrated delivery systems. He has lead consulting engagements in the areas of enterprise strategic planning, service line planning, organizational alignment, economic alignment (funds flow), and practice plan governance. Mr. Maddrey frequently writes and speaks on issues of alignment and strategy recently publishing the paper “Achieving Optimal Alignment in Academic Health Centers.”
In addition to his work at the Chartis Group, Mr. Maddrey spent several years consulting at APM / CSC Healthcare. Prior to joining Chartis, Mr. Maddrey was President and General Manager of Aveta Health Illinois / North American Medical Management of Illinois, and prior to that served as Vice President at UnitedHealth Group and Anthem / WellPoint.
Mr. Maddrey received his Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University, his Master of Business Administration with honors from Georgetown University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy from Tulane University.

Shawn Moore joined OptumHealth in 2009 with a background in product and services design/management. She is currently a Senior Director with responsibility for leading OptumHealth’s Care Solutions product team focused on developing solutions to help consumers achieve their health goals. Shawn brings the strategic focus and business judgment gained during two decades of diverse experience in the disciplines of software product management, strategic planning and acquisitions and business development. She is recognized as a leader in delivering effective product management and segmentation strategies.
Ms. Moore has previously held executive positions and is credited with several market focused business growth achievements at Fair Isaac, MoneyGram, Deluxe Corporation and Wolters Kluwer. Her specific areas of expertise include organic product growth, strategic acquisition identification and successful joint venture solutions.
Shawn holds a business degree from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in business from the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis. Shawn also shares her experiences as a guest lecturer and instructor.
